HISTORY BEGIN
- "2006: Quality - The first "foundation brick" for success. On May 15, 2006, Phu Nong Co., Ltd. was established with three members who were friends sharing the same ideas, orientation, and a strong desire for stable, long-term, and reputable cooperation with agents and distributors to bring the best quality products to farmers, protect crops, and increase income and productivity in agricultural production. Quality has always been the criterion pursued from the early days of establishment until now.
- Market expansion: To meet the growing and diverse demands of agricultural production, as well as to expand market coverage based on market expansion needs, Phu Nong conducted research, experiment, and registered nearly 100 trade pesticide names, including insecticides, herbicides, molluscicides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, foliar fertilizers, etc. Phu Nong's plant protection product line ensures comprehensive support for the cultivation process, from seedling to harvest, for a wide range of crops.
- In parallel with product quality and market expansion, Phu Nong focused on recruitment and in-depth training for its technical team. The company organized various training classes, workshops, and field demonstrations to provide guidance and transfer technical knowledge on the use of plant protection products to farmers, emphasizing the adherence to the 4-right principles. This aimed to increase the biological efficacy of the products and effectively address pest issues in agricultural fields. It was from 2010 that renowned products such as Indosuper 150SC insecticide, Rice blast disease Trobin top 325SC, root rot disease fungicide, and silver leaf bacterial disease control Anti-XO 200WP became the "bridge" connecting the company and farmers.
- A historic milestone in the development of Phu Nong - In September 2017, the company's board of directors officially commenced the operation of a manufacturing, bottling, and packaging plant for plant protection products. The facility was equipped with advanced and modern production lines, along with ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system, and ISO IEC 17025:2005 Vlas 0137 laboratory testing.
- Brand elevation: The plant protection product market is experiencing significant changes with the active involvement of Regulatory Agencies such as the Plant Protection Department. The department has issued a series of guidelines and restrictions, banning highly toxic pesticides that degrade slowly in the environment and pose risks to human health. In 2019, Phu Nong Company, recognizing this trend, registered and introduced several pesticides with low toxicity and high safety to the market. This initiative aimed to affirm and elevate the brand of Phu Nong.
- The motto of constant innovation and the commitment to innovation and creativity are the “unwritten commandments” for all employees of Phu Nong Company. The steadfastness in quality management is crucial for the company's survival and has partly contributed to the differentiation that brings value to the Phu Nong brand since its establishment.
- From its early days of establishment with approximately 20 employees, the company primarily focused on retail distribution of nearly 10 types of plant protection products. Over nearly 15 years of establishment and development, the current total number of employees at Phu Nong is nearly 200, with 90% of them holding university degrees in various fields such as economics, finance, business administration, agriculture, biotechnology, and chemical technology. With a network of over 1,000 distributors spread across all 63 provinces and cities, Phu Nong's products have become the "optimal" choice for many farmers and distributors.
